Butterflies the night B4 a game

OK. Here I am 40 years old and can't freaking sleep because of Friday night lights. OMG I have had my time under the lights and yet I am more excited and nervous when my kids get out on the field. Anyone else feel me?????????? I know I am NOT alone! LOL

I don't even have kids and I have this problem.

I'm with ya. Not for my kid, yet, but for my nephew (Soph, WR, on varsity @ 4A Hutto Highschool).

I know what you are feeling.  In our day ( way back then ) we were anxious to "Get it on!  Let's get going - let me hit somebody."  Now we worry about our children getting injured, the mistakes they might make, and Oh - please don't let my son not make the play that could
have saved the game.  A different mind-set over which we have no control.

No Lake Travis. They are in the district with Bryan Rudder, and the Pflugerville schools. they are not even in the same region as Lake Travis. I would've loved to see how the would've matched up against them, tho.

My wife does'nt understand why i get so excited! but, bambam33 you are so right! i have some great memories of my days on the field, but none greater than seeing my son on the field of battle. i love this game!!!!!!!!
