baseballfan4life Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 lets see what yall think about other schools fields???
Bobcatfan4life Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Some of my personal favorites...... PNG Nederland Jasper Woodville
MIF04 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Woodville's field is top notch and almost always in great condition.
adminbaberuth Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 1. Jasper 2. Woodville 3. Nederland
AshlyHasBeen Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 From the fields I've played on 1. Jasper 2. PN-G 3. LC-M (it's small but the infield usually played true, good for us infielders ) 4. West Brook 5. Kelly 6. Memorial is also getting better, but picking up the ball off the metal bleachers can be a nightmare. Nederland is very nice looking but the field didn't play very well. Ozen is scariest for an infielder, the lip makes every ground ball an adventure, that's where my summer men's team plays their home games.
Buna baseball 13 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Buna's field is a good for line drive hitters and its got a good infield.
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Barbers Hill's field is very nice, but, besides the people, wat isnt nice at BH??
piratefan Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Vidor has put up a brick backstop, and is renovating there field. It will be ready this year.
BHFAN Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Barbers Hill's field is very nice' date='but, besides the people, wat isnt nice at BH??[/quote'] Ok now you hurt my fealings  We all aspire to be good decent Liberty folk one day The field is nice though 8)
rhino1877 Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Woodville, LCM, Jasper, and BH are all nice!
Lucky Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 I think everyone will be impressed with Dayton's field. Saw it last year and I think it will be the finest in the district.
Guest coachhooker Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 this is my first year in se tx but i have seen buna's and is was nice but the best money wise so far i have seen is woodville

Ty Cobb Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 1. New Caney (the playing surface is awesome) 2. Barbers Hill (Huge dugouts and great bull-pens) 3. Jasper (the brick fence down the foul lines) 4. Silsbee (New outfield fence, new dugout, new scoreboard)
L-TOWN baseball Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 yea id imagine that new caney's field is good ... being adam dunn field.. its gotta be ...
S.P(Daryl)#60 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Sabine pass field is good for a 1a school
love the game Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 New Caney has the best field. There's no competition.
love the game Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Oh yea... Adam Dunn just donated a huge scoreboard to New Caney.
t-time Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Well, i'm just a fan, so i'll have to go with HJ. You can pull your truck out behind center field, talk a little smack to the outfielders, and tailgate without paying a dime.
Guest pirates Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Vidor has put a lot of money and time into their new facility, in door batting cages (2), indoor pitching area (2 mounds). As far as the field, added turf to the baselines, new infield, new mound and concrete backstop with netting. They have also added netting over the stands in front of the press box. I give it Coach Green, he knows how to build a facility which in turn, starts building a program and starts making the players think that they can win....There is a lot more improvements scheduled for the next couple of years.Stay tuned pictures to follow soon. Yes we are proud of the new look at Pirate Field and support facilities, maybe some day we can have our facilities looking like the other top notch programs in the area, like Big Ned, PNG, LCM.
