bulldawg64 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 well its here who takes it? ;Ddogs or indians?
adminbaberuth Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Wish the Indians were having a better year, it's not going to be pretty.
Tim Riggins Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Don't read too much into Livingston's thumping of the Indians. The Lions generally run a little below the radar due to geography, but they will likely be the district champion this year and the other 3 playoff spots are pretty much up for grabs. Just look at the scores of the other 3 games, all close and down to the final seconds and OT in the case of Ozen & Central.
PN-G bamatex Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 As usual, there's only one true prediction I can offer: the stadium's going to be packed. I'll be home for this and I look forward to seeing the Indians in person for the first time this year.Scalp 'em!
GoDogs27 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 This will be another one for the ages... My prediction? Ogreziak hits a 42 yard field goal to win 31-30 DOGS!
BaseBow Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Throw the stats out the window, it will not matter in this one...Got to go with my Dogs by a T.D ...21-14...Brett Brown will be pumped for this one...He missed last years game...

Tim Riggins Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 OK then, "squeaks by, edges past, narrowly defeats". Better?
Kiandn Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Yes you can throw out all the stats...........but if ned qb throws like he did agaist Vidor this will get ugly quick.
outanup Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Nederland with offensive problems, and PNG with defensive ones. Interesting matchup......
indnfan Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Ok.. Here we go. Get ready for many pages on this thread and probably alot of trash talking. I am going to go with the PN-G of course but they are going to have to step it up a notch. Just hope i get to see a close injury free game with the Indians coming out on top. ;)
dawgnut Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 We could probably take a look at how many Indian and Dog fans are on this forum and just preload the poll for some reason I don't see many changing sides ;)

Best of luck to BOTH teams for an injury free game. As always, records don't count when these two teams play each other.
LP0175 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 I'm going with PN-G on this one. 10 point win. 31-21
surfer73 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 PNG all the way! Our defense will be just fine !
Old61Eagle Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Seems like I remember hearing that this game was going to be broadcasted live statewide on Fox Southwest as the high school game of the week. Does anyone else remember this? And if so will that be on Channel 26 (TWC)? I wanted to let out-of-towners know about this so they can plan on watching the Indians (& Bulldogs).
dawgnut Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 The games can't be broadcast live only tape delayed. I think the Fox Sports South West will be doing a pregame show. Check out the story: http://panews.com/sportsbobwest/x1592793972/Street-naming-sets-up-Bum-to-attend-Mid-County-Madness
Cheermom4 Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 I can't bet against my INDIANS. The Reservation is the place to be this coming Friday. GO INIDIANS

Since Bum Phillips will be honored before the game maybe that will be covered live.
Michele Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 DOGS are ready for this one!!!! ...... I agree, our kicker is going to be a difference maker in this one!!! [glow=red,2,300]Dogs win[/glow]
LB76 Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Another good game to watch......Both teams will play all out for 4 quarters, this one may very well come down to the wire. If it is close in the last 2 minutes, beware Indians, these Dogs know how to hang on to the bitter end. Should be a real good ball game, both teams match up well, plus it is MCM! Good luck to both sides, hope everyone stays healthy.
Guest The-NHS Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Glad our "rivalry" game is over with and its back to regular district games.......sigh.Nederland's Defense seems to be the backbone of the dogs this year. Our offense has loads of potential but we've yet to capitalize on it fully. I'm going to go with a low scoring game with a late fg for the win. Dogs - 17Hopis - 14[shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300]NEDERLAND....[/glow][/shadow]
