Guest beechnut Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 Who do you like? I will once again root for NY but think that the Phillies are going to be tough.

Ty Cobb Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 I would love to see the TEXAS RANGERS get back to the World Series and win it this year!!! Last year was nice, but I want it all!!!

bullets13 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 anything can happen in the playoffs. i'd love to see my rangers make it back to the WS. they have the team to do it... arguably the most solid offense in the league, a solid rotation with a legit ace in wilson, and an improved bullpen from last year.
Ty Cobb Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I'm getting pretty nervous about the RANGERS chances of resigning C J Wilson after the season ends. I really wish he would sign an entension!!!
adminbaberuth Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Braves lose . . . Rays win . . . Red Sox lose . . . Cardinals tied with stros 4-4 8th.What a finish.
ForeverADog Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 In the national league its the Phillies. Possibly the Brewers but no shot for the Diamondbacks or Wild Card winner. In the American League I think its wide open. Boston has no shot. The other 4, I could see winning the pennant.I'll go with the Phillies over the Rangers in 6.
adminbaberuth Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Phillies just knotted the game in the 9th with Braves 3-3, Pence at the plate.
adminbaberuth Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Cards up 7-0 with Stros in the 7th.
adminbaberuth Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Rain delay, 7th Red Sox up 3-2. Lester pitched great. Will Buchholz pitch the 8th?
Guest beechnut Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 The cardinal fans now top the phillies as BUSH.

Guest beechnut Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Who cares I'm out of here and going to watch a late money ball @ the movies......
bullets13 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 I'll say this... nobody in either league is playing better baseball right now than the rangers... winning 14 of 16 heading into the playoffs does a lot for your confidence. they have an incredibly solid pitching staff, and possibly the most balanced offense in the league. that being said, the rays are either going to be sky high after their amazing comeback(s) or emotionally drained. they may be able to ride their momentum of the last week, even though boston gave it to them more than they actually earned it.
