HonorPrideTradition Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 According to the PNG district website the game is SOLD OUT! Bring on the MADNESS!!!!!
AggiesAreWe Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I have 4 tickets, home side, 35 yard line, row 16.$20 a pop.
bambam33 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 THAT IS IMPRESSIVE. HOW MANY FOLKS IS THAT?
baddog Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Not a huge surprise. MCM sells out every year. I would guess about 13,000. This is not a percentage sellout either. It is SRO!!
NDNation Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 Has Nederland sold out yet? If not it shouldn't be long! We want a packed house on both sides!
dawgnut Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 I understand the whole stadium is sold out!

PNGFan Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 From what I was told they are predicting 17,000 to 20,000
PN-G bamatex Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011
From what I was told they are predicting 17,000 to 20,000
I don't know about 20,000, but the largest crowd ever to see a game at Indian Stadium is 16,000, and that record was set in the old stadium. It wouldn't surprise me if it was broken in the new stadium, and MCM seems like the most likely game to do the job.

puddleofmudd Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 Oh boy, a sold out crowd to watch the battle of whose community is more stuck up
Cheermom4 Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 I can't wait and I hope the people behind me don't mind standing because I will probably be on my feet cheering those INDIANS on the whole game.

AshlyHasBeen Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 With all the new fire code laws, etc it will be tough to break the old records. They used to allow the parts of the track to be SRO but I haven't seen that in years.

bulldawg64 Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 fire codes?need to fix on the visitors sidewhere the aisles stop into the seats 5 rows before you getto the bottom! creates a log jam.

I think it's dumb as well and miss the overflow crowds.
PN-G bamatex Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Maybe one of these days they'll bring back the endzone seats and just put them on the south side of the field.
dawgnut Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 The truth is except for one game the stadium holds enough. There are very few teams that bring the crowds like Nederland and PNG.
PN-G bamatex Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 That's true for the most part. Vidor and LC-M bring pretty good crowds though, and PN-G tickets for the home side almost always get scarce for the Central game. But none of them compare to MCM.
