Not a huge surprise. MCM sells out every year. I would guess about 13,000. This is not a percentage sellout either. It is SRO!!

I don't know about 20,000, but the largest crowd ever to see a game at Indian Stadium is 16,000, and that record was set in the old stadium. It wouldn't surprise me if it was broken in the new stadium, and MCM seems like the most likely game to do the job.

With all the new fire code laws, etc it will be tough to break the old records. They used to allow the parts of the track to be SRO but I haven't seen that in years.

I agree. They sell 13,000 seats. Thats it. No SRO. The only SRO will be outside the gates.

It's more about the people being to exit in a safe manner. I think it's dumb as well and miss the overflow crowds.

Maybe one of these days they'll bring back the endzone seats and just put them on the south side of the field.

The truth is except for one game the stadium holds enough. There are very few teams that bring the crowds like Nederland and PNG.

That's true for the most part. Vidor and LC-M bring pretty good crowds though, and PN-G tickets for the home side almost always get scarce for the Central game.

But none of them compare to MCM.
