bigred360 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Oh Lord there will be talk of a coaching change if Vidor loses this game. It happens every time!
AggiesAreWe Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Vidor has a first down with 1:53 left. Lumberton has two timeouts left. Vidor up 30-26, and the speedy Quirante is back at QB.
AggiesAreWe Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Quirante spins his way for 5 yards, but comes up short. Fourth-and-1. Vidor calls timeout with 50 seconds left.
bigred360 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Congratulations to Jeff and the boys at Vidor. Way to finish the game!
Guest Pirate_pride_07 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Hey radiernaytion where ya at? ::) 8)
NAZERATH Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Looks like they showed pretty good tonight
LumRaiderFan Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Good game Raiders...great job against a good Vidor team!
jordibug15 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Good job Raiders to hang with Vidor!Congrats Vidor
NorthoftheBorder Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Well looks like the Raiders are going to go 0-10 but make every game fun and close.
JollyRoger81 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Wow!!!! Another exciting game!!!!! Next up...Ozen! ;D
pirate68 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Glad we got the win!!!! Lumberton never quit.We were very sloppy tonight.Defense got soft when we went up 24 to 7.Offense put the ball on the ground to much and the kicking game was bad. Coaches were about to stroke out.I would hate to be at practice next week.
Tim Riggins Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 That was one crazy TD pass for Lumberton's last score. Great scramble by the Raider QB then as he's going down just flings the ball into the middle of the field where an open receiver just happened to be. What an exciting final 5 minutes.
daddy23 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Kudos to Lumberton for never giving up.Vidor looked sloppy and rough tonight. But I am so glad to get the win!
Tim Riggins Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Yeah, what I thought too. They looked a little complacent after going up big and the offense misses Bollinger's speed on the outside for sure. Lumberton found some running room in the 4th quarter to close the gap.
Guest Pirate_pride_07 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 I'll give it to em. Lumberton never gave up. They will surprise some teams this year.
VHS1989 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Lumberton is a good 0-5 team. They will be a spoiler to somebody this year. Great game to watch. Way to go Pirates and keep your heads up Raiders.
vhs Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 It wasn't a pretty win but a win is a win. Lots to work on this week to get ready for Ozen, but we got the right coaching crew to get the boys ready...Way to go Pirates!
incognito Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Great win for the Pirates, imo Vidor had to win this game to keep their confidence as a team, didn't get to make the game but definitely glad they came away with the win.

TNTITANS Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Way to go PIRATES! Wish I could have been there. Sounds like it was a great game! Good luck to both teams the rest of the season!
Guest Pirate_pride_07 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Now lets get ready for Ozen.
