Huckaby is old school, this is not about a win and loss it is about the big picture in life. Huck's scheme is perfect for these kids to compete. They may not make the playoff's but they will compete. That is a life lesson in itself. Orangefield has always supported their teams in all sports and I am very proud of that but some in the community want huckaby gone. That would be a BIG mistake IMO.  Because there is a bigger picture.  These kids need the bigger picture.

Not a chance of that, are they confident yes and of course they think they can win this game, if you don't think that way you don't have a chance. We always seem to play Silsbee tough and hopefully this year we can get over that hump, but we all know how talented the Tigers are and that this game will be tough to win. Should be interesting...

I don't see how anyone could even consider taking OF lightly. They've lost one game to a team that would probably beat anyone in this district. I think it will be a close game decided by 7 points one way or the other.

Orangefield converted a few 4th and shorts with the Tigers the past two years.  It isnt 3 and out for Orangefield....its 4 and out. 

It would be nice to hold this Orangefield team to 14 points.......others have done it.  Let me rephrase that a little..... One 2a team did it.  One 2a team came close.  And a 3a team shut them out. 

It would be nice.

its hard to win in silsbee no matter who you are are how good i got a gut feeling  orangefield will TRY and juice the clock to TRY and keep it close like dan hooks said a year ago you better takle everone becouse you dont know where the ball is lol good luck to both teams

That's what a lot of teams who are sitting on the front porch licking their wounds during the post season say... Easy to criticize, but hard to beat.

Anything can happen but I don't see Orangefield beating the Tigers. The Bobcats have a good team and I  think that they could be a playoff team if they can beat Bridge City. Silsbee will be well prepared coming off a bye week. Silsbee is suspect early in games on their run defense. That will be one area that the Bobcats can attack early but Silsbee will make adjustments.
