just wanted to congradulate bmt gold on the win they had today. this team deserves all the credit. they played solid defense, had 2 defensive td and they just handled my team on offense. ive seen png-g play pa and we played wos to a 6-0 game in
bmt, this team has the players to win it all. coaches, players,and parents represented the bmt area well, very classy guys and good luck, from peewee red

Like I said before they are alot different when u line up and play them. I new they were going to shock yall on the "ROAD" IN LUMBERTON! Dude those kids on Ned-B are no bunch of little sissy's they play -every game hard and BMT-G made us look bad bad .... Good luck to who ever has got them next!  Im glad that game is behind me.

[/quote]They are great guys over their. Also round of applause to u guys for putting up 18 points on a tough deffense that has not given up more than 6 you guys are going to be alright. what did u think of their speed and where they aggresssive on D ?

Tell you what, I'll take odds on BMT-G over Lum-W any day of the week.  Got to see them play already and it ain't nice...  Lum W (a very good team) does not have the tools to handle this 1st class team.  Oh, and they are coached pretty well too!

What part don't you understand? I think as misguided as it might be the point was clear. Guess we'll see in a couple of weeks.

To quote our friend from Nederland, "Speed kills"...that's the tools I am speaking of (3, 9, 11 & one more...couldn't see his number cuz he was running too fast!).  Also, looking at stats, you guys played a very good, but not 1st seed quality Ned B team.  Both you guys had key injuries according to these boards, yet you beat them by only 1 point.  Ask Ned B what they think your chances are against BMT G.  Lum W is a 1st class team, there is no doubt.  But I would be willing to wager on BMT G over Lum W any day of the week.  Does that make it more clear?

With all due respect Dawgsof gold, both of the Lumberton teams out hit the BMT G team (not by much) in my opinion; however, you guys have a very well coached greasy lightning fast team with some hosses on it.  Lum W can hit, but they can't hit what they can't catch.  Good luck to you and your athletes.

Honestly I think BMT is WAY to fast - Lum. Im pullin for ya (probably the first time ever) If somebody can do before the end of regular season O Alexa can. Now PN-G they really have it all over there Sorry Lum-red I hate to say it But just try to stay health for play offs. I would Like yall to knock off BMT so I want have to face them Again. Ned B does not match up well against them.
NOTE: BMT was Knocking the @^&** out of NED-B  FYI  made my boy lay down

Bmt G hits real good and they are fast, but they do not out hit Lum R or Lum W.  I am not saying it is a landslide, but I have seen all 3 play in several games and I would have to rank 1. Lum R 2. Lum W 3. Bmt G in that 3 way match up.  No disrespect intended, believe me.  You guys will beat Lum W...I am sure of it.  You've got some decent hitters and crazy speed.  I like watching your boys play.

      Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.

      I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
