WVU to SEC!! Announcement to come by Friday.

I don't start rumors, I just report them. Information that I have gathered from other bloggers on the Big East and insiders from the program say that WVU will be the 14th team in the SEC and that an announcment could come as early as Friday. That's just what I've been told.

I would expect Mizzou over WV but we'll see.

I think there are actually more schools looking to jump out of the Big East then out of the Big 12.  For both Nebraska and A&M I believe they think they are capable of competing at a high level in their new conference and they felt like Texas had too much say in the Big 12.  Also the money the SEC and Big 10 have from TV will improve their standing.  As long as Oklahoma and Texas stay the Big 12 is a BCS contender, but they need to add at least a 10th school to replace A&M.
