They are still searching for their first W under Coach V.  You wonder if he knew this going in and wanted a challenge, or was it to move back home (birthplace) or did losing Jones at QB over at EC scare him enough to find another job.  Either way, good luck to him and the Tors on trying to get their first win.

Coach V wanted to stay at EC until his daughter graduated, which he did. His eventual move to Ball surprised absolutely no one. He inherited a Ball program that was a total wreck. Give him some time and Ball will be a winner.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you.  I was just offering up a few scenarios, geez, take it easy.  As far as the Tors, they actually outgained Lamar Consolidated by quite a few yards, but struggled in the red zone (Houston Texans disease).  wackpack made it sound like I had something against Coach V, not at all.  Met him a few times, seemed like a great guy.  No doubt a great coach.  Good luck to him and the Tors as he moulds them into a winner again.

Yeah bruno I noticed they (the Tors) don't win yet but they are pretty much competitive in each game. Keep in mind hurricane Ike set the Ball program and school back quite a bit. They lost players after the storm. Ball is going to improve in the near future.

I agree in the future he will turn the program around, but in the next few weeks they will take some beatings, Dawson, LaMarque and Manvel will be tough, that district is tough period, has to be the toughest in the state in 4a
