Ya know what would be a neat conclusion, if Dillon (or East Dillon) would face in the finals....you guessed it...Odessa Permian!

It is ironic that the movie and the subequent series has had such a warm reception here in Texas considering the fact that I remember the author of the book "Friday Night Lights" received Salman Rushdie-type treatment in Texas when that thing came out.

I get made fun of for it, but I love varsity blues. Sure, its very exaggerated, but a lot of  it is true. It's just a very entertaining movie.

Varsity Blues is one of the best football movies ever made.

I never have figured out why Texas football movies spend so much time showing 16 through 18 year old in bars and strip joints but I still love it. There never has been a bad football movie!!!!
