Silsbee vs Bridge City predictions

Silsbee needs to really game plan on Menard. I watched him last year ad he is a load. Could go either way. BC should be the favorite and could have more over all talent, but the heart of the Tigers prevail!

Other than the Newton game, Silsbee has out scored their opponents in the 2nd half.

Silsbee has out scored their opponents in the 2nd half 113-41, average of 18.8-6.8 , with 4 shut outs in the 2nd half. Silsbee defensive coaching staff is making excellent adjustments at half time.

Silsbee has only led at the half just twice this season (Waltrip and Newton), tied twice (Cleveland and Jasper) trailed twice (Lumberton and Orangefield)

*note: The 2nd half of Waltrip game could have been worse, 2nd team came in middle of 3rd, finished the game)

There was a question about him being eligible to play this week after he got ejected from last week's game. Not sure of the UIL rule in regards to being ejected.

FR-90 Rule 9 / Conduct of Players and Others Subject to the Rules
b. A disqualified player must leave the playing enclosure within a reasonable
amount of time after his disqualification. He must remain out of view of the
field of play under team supervision for the duration of the game.

Plus the ejection was a clear mistake by the officials.  The first Personal Foul was for "taunting".  The second was a hit by another player that the officials incorrectly attributed to Dishon.  Objections from the coaches at the time pointed out that the wrong player was charged and videotape confirmed it.

The question was about would he be able to play this week because of his ejection (be it warranted or not) from last week. The rule in high school basketball is if you are ejected from a game, you must sit out the next game.

Not sure if the same rule applies with football.
