They didn't coast against center was a hard 4 quarter battle, just what the dogs needed.  Hope they can keep their edge, it may be hard to do with cream puff's like hunnington and kville...

Tdaddy thats a bold statement to make the way i saw Kirbyville smash your dogs last season. Jasper have talent and still sucks and everybody know this. You guys will beat Hunnington but will struggle with Kirbyville i promise you that.

Last year being the key words..new coaching staff new system new attitude.  New coach has enough balls to kick off 2 starting seniors and replace them with sophomores.  ALOT of soph starting on varsity.  Alverize (sp) new when to get out..

Jasper has also faced some good 3a teams and a good 4a team in Livingston. Jasper kept the silsbee game, wos game and Livingston game close. Turnovers killed that team. Orangefield the team chemistry was gone that game and Jasper nearly had a 4th quarter comeback even after kicking their own butts. Not excusing Jaspers performances but against Center I saw a different team then the orangefield game and the team knows the coach doesn't play by replacing two veteran players. This is going to be a good game but also don't even think about last year. This is a completely different team in all aspects.
