What Setx team has the most state titles?

And if we're talking about State Champs...I doubt they could have hung with any of the State finalist teams in 2007.  No disrespec to to Kelly, but they are not even close to being in the same league as our local 4-A front runners...never have.

I looked at 2007, which must be the year you played for Kelly since you think they were so great. They were a decent team, but the only quality wins were Hitckcock, Sulphur, and St. Pius. The rest of the teams were weak that year. Now, for the area teams that would've beat Kelly for sure that year was 4A PNG, Dayton, Lumberton, Crosby, Galena Park, and Smiley. That was the 4A playoff teams. Dayton went to the semi-finals that year, Lumberton beat LaMarque and went 3 rounds, and PNG went 2 rounds. 3A teams that would've beat Kelly are WOS, Jasper, and Kirbyville. WOS and Kville went 11-2 and 3 rounds deep. 2A teams Corrigan-Camden, Newton, Hardin, Buna, and EC would've beat Kelly that year. So, in the grand scheme of things, the 2007 Kelly team would've been a middle of the road team in Southeast Texas Again! ;D ;D 8) My opinion of course.

Sulphur was 8-3 that season and lost thier first playoff game to Westgate of New Iberia. They were hardly the great team you think they were. Not a Kelly hater, I just think it's comical that your buying into the Kelly is the best team bit when I've said thier usually a decent team, but not very good. 8)

Kelly does not beat Silsbee in '92 or '93.

I am surprised that Charlton Pollard never won a PVIL title!  I also thought that SFA won a title.  From this list Newton and PNG are the UIL winners.

I remember the Silsbee at WOS win that year. Jay had a huge kickoff return for TD after a 95 yard Kendal Cleveland run. Rhone also had a big 43 yard TD run up the gut.

They wouldn't of beat Newton in 07 either.. They have never beat Newton I think they have a played multiple times and Newton has won everytime
