Ty Cobb Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Blah is right. I have never liked the cardinals so I don't want to see them win this series but I'm not a brewer fan either. I have, however, been to Miller Park and loved it. I guess that's enough to make me pull for milwaukee in this sereis.
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Ty, not trying to get ahead, but who do you feel would the Rangers would want to face?
Ty Cobb Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 I'm not sure because I don't really now too much about either team. They are both good baseball teams and are obviously playing well right now since they are in the NLCS. The middle of the cardinals line-up can be scary with pujols, holliday, and berkman. The brewers have braun and fielder. I don't know who has the better pitching staff but would lean towards milwaukee. Personally, I hope the RANGERS make the World Series and play the beer makers but I don't know how they will match-up with them.
Lazeek Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 CARDINALS!!!!!!!!How can you argue with a team that was 10.5 down with 5 weeks to go in the season. They are hitting on all cylinders right now. They are a dangerous team who are playing with TONS of confidence right now!!!!Nice to get the win last night when Carp was not on his game!!!
HubTx Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 The Brewers have the look of a team that is finished right now.... Fielder and Braun have been held pretty silent, while the Cardinals bullpen is lights out right now....Pujols has been hot, and David Freese is carrying the rest of the team on his back....Looks like we're going to get Cardinals/Rangers in the World Series!!!!!
Ty Cobb Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 I've just never liked the cardinals. I couldn't stand McSteriod when he was a player and I can't stand him now as a hitting coach. They play in st. louis where budweiser is brewed and I'm not a bud fan. The only thing that I liked that came out of a cardinals uniform was Ozzie Smith. So hopefully the brewers can come back and win this series.

I figure you are referring to Mark McGwire........he would be known as McSteroid!!!! ;D ;D
walldrill Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I am pulling for the Cardinals. Usually like watching La Rusa's teams. Like to watch Pujols swing it and think he is a fun guy to root for. Plus the fact that Berkman is with them now gives me another reason to pull for them. That way if the Rangers don't win it at least Berkman will get a ring. I also like those Cardinals uniforms. ???
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 I want whoever will have the worst matchups with TX to win this series. ;)
Lazeek Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Cardinals need to win it tonight........that way Carpenter can pitch Game 1 in the Series instead of Game 7 tomorrow night!!!!
PhatMack19 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Cards up big 11-6.Pujols injured wrist making diving tag at 1st. He stayed in the game so far. That would be a huge blow for the WS.
Guest beechnut Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 WOW got to love the wildcard and Cards are on fire.
