That is a bad deal for Octavious.  He had the the best run from scrimmage so far since the restart last year in Saturday's game, a nifty 44 yard run that showed his skills.  He doesn't have the "take it to the house" breakaway speed, but he is quick an shifty.  I think he will be missed.  Another point is LU needs to figure out how to get a power running game in the red zone.  I don't know who that would be, but it is definately needed.  Hanna or Harmon might fill that but I have not seen either in a goal line or red zone situation.  JJ might be a solution at RB but then Bevil might just crater down the stretch this year like he did last.  I hope not, but he still just throws up the ball expecting the WR's to make a play, and he still wants a TD on every throw.  Hopefully the coaching will correct some issues we have.  I would think that Prewitt might be the backup to Bevil, but I am sure JJ want to be a QB so who knows.

Maybe we need to look at Johnson at RB as he has the skill set to play the position.

dang, I've been a pretty big fan of logan

at his present weight and build, I think Johnson would get killed trying to run between the tackles

looking at the roster Harmon, Hanna was rb in hs, #40 Alexander? (looking for squatty dudes) wonder if he played O at yates....a lot of the wr/db played qb/rb in hs..ploch is another possiblity

hopefully, Venson and harmon can carry the load and stay healthy
