An El Paso school has 3A numbers but has been playing 5A classification for many years now.

It's not like they are struggling.

That district they are in is brutal they may want to drop and try on some 3A state rings :) man they droped over 250 students in 2 years that is a massive drop! I think the only way they stay up is if traveling becomes too expesive for the school district by dropping to 3A.
HubTx Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Looks like Kirbyville back down to 2A and San Augustine down to 1A.... Both will be tough the next two years if that is true....

AggiesAreWe Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 I don't see LaMarque opting to stay in 4A. They will probably be sent west in that West Columbia, Sweeny district and be in Region IV. But, if those 6 HISD schools finally decide to move down to 3A (they have all opted to stay 4A with 3A numbers for the last 3 realignments) then I could see LaMarque joining them in a Region III district.

Would love to see them drop for the sake of Nederland BBall! I'm sure Silsbee an HJ don't want to see that happen though. Wonder how that would affect their recruiting...I mean they're wonderful science program? ::)and regardless of numbers, LaMarque is always scary in FB (not bad in B-Ball either)!

Yates had over 1200 in last realignment. I think they will stay 4A.

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 I had a dream PA Memorial turned in 2050. I hope I'm right ;)

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 I saw 2,292 for LT on another site. Smithson Valley should move up and Longview back to 4A. I'm eager to see what Highland Park turns in, the 4A school thats always one student away from 5A every re-alignment.
