Why not call the cops?  It would give the Sour Lake PD something to do.  Unlike Beaumont, they don't have to investigate murders, rapes, robberies...They can use their fine detective skills to find the perps.  Besides, at least someone in Sour Lake did something on the field, it doesn't appear the Hawks are..It pains me to say that, but it proves the truth hurts..

I hear they have fallen victim to the old "let's burn our high school insignia into the opposing teams grass" trick. Fact or fiction?

Is this your admission of guilt????

At high school age they're more than capable of realizing we're in a SEVERE drought, on top of being stupid and burning their own football field.

If it weren't for the drought and recent wildfire I would say just re-sod the area and give them a good in-school punishment, but come on... law enforcement needs to come down on them as well.
:o :o Drought, On a Football field??? I have never seen green grass burn, At least they werent smoking crack, or making meth. Come on Law enforcement comming down on kids, What a fool you sound like>>>>
I'm not saying put them in jail or anything extreme.

But think about it, the entire STATE is in a drought. People's cigarettes are causing fires worth millions. Had that fire left at all (though I'm not familiar with HJ's layout) a lot more could have been damaged.

Give me a break, they're 16-18 year olds. They're practically adults. I'm 18, I should be able to say that with confidence
