This all sounds like a game of bluff poker. Trying to get someone to fold.  By just bluffing ;D
Come on No way does someone have hard evidence. Clear video and take two weeks to get the people. They are just waiting for someone to rat on the other or just to come out and confess.  ;D

I heard the HJ letters were burning and it spread into the end zone.

Some say it was the first time that HJ got into the end zone all year.
Okay, so no one wants to comment on the above, huh? Is this a new spread offense HJ has put in? Well, it didn't work against HF.

People need to lighten up.

Can I get a list of all the posters on this forum who were perfect from 7th grade to their senior year?

I remember lots of things we did as pranks back in the day.  I climbed on top of TJ's gym.....I got 3 licks from a paddle, while the coach was laughing.....

We drank beer during lunch in the parking lot (open campus at that time)....

I ended up just fine and a respectable citizen.......

***not claiming underage drinking is ok...its NOT......just saying kids will do stupid things......it IS part of growing up
We stole my teacher's car from the teacher's parking lot, hid it in the woods and left him a ransom note.  He laughed about it.  We went Christmas caroling at my principal's house then toilet paper wrapped it after he went to sleep.  We stole keys to the High School broke in at 4am, put chickens and ducks and hay in my teacher's room because he said teaching that class was like teaching in a barnyard.  We all survived and all involved had no hard feelings...plus they couldn't catch us anyway!

Hey - list me first on that list of "Perfection" from the 7th grade through high school graduation.  Oh, wait a minute.  You said 7th grade.  I had an incident in the 7th grade that I'd rather not talk about.  But I was perfect from the 8th grade through graduation, by golly!!! 8)

My son plays at HJ and he has said nothing about the field being burned other than "hey dad, someone burned a HF in the middle of our field". I dont think it is that big of a deal as you all are making it out to be. HJ's football program is in a bad place right now. The older kids are so used to loosing that they have developed a "loosers mentality" if you will. During the summer, when the coaches have no control over workouts, with the exception of opening the weightroom from 7am to 7pm, but you only see a handfull of kids there and 90% are Freshmen. So now we show up un-prepared and out of shape and start our season. So now, we loose a game and its time to blame the coaches. Then you have the parents second guessing everything the coaches do and relaying this info to their children. In the mean time, the coaches wives are setting in the stands having to listen to upset parents saying hurtful things about their husbands. I think the negativity starts with the parents. Get your kid to the weight room and start some off season training. Also, weight training and conditioning does not have to stop because football started. There is nothing like running the stadium stands for a football player. The negativity that is in those stands every Friday is spreading like a cancer. I tell my son every day when he goes to school, "be positive, yes sir, no sir to every coach you come in contact with, listen to them and do your best to please them because its going to pay off".  There are too many parents in the stands griping about who's playing where (which I am very guilty of), why freshmen are on the field (there are only 2 and in my opinion 4 more that should be there starting), why we are running this play, and "he better not yell at my kid". We have to get a hold of it, do our part as parents to get our kids prepared, and stop blaming someone else. And maybe, just maybe, we can shut up all these football critics with nothing better to do than get on a site like this and slander a bunch of kids.
