big win for Deweyville...sounds like they got after it for 4 qtrs (which I said they would have to do to have a shot in this game).  This district race is now wide-open with SA at 2-0, Corrigan-Camden, Deweyville, Hemphill and New Waverly at 1-1 and Groveton at 0-2.  Next week shall be dubbed "Seperation Week" as the 4 1-1 teams battle each other, win and you have the upper hand, lose and you've got to win out and get help most likely.

People better buckle up because the PIRATES are the real deal....couldve easily beaten SA if they play better....I am the first to eat crow because I did not think the pirates would win a game in district.  I think the pirates can beat CC if they play well.  or anyone.  Like I said before no one will go undefeated in this district...someone will have 1 loss at least....looking forward to the SA/hemphill game.....dont know if hemphill can beat SA now....guess the hornets thought they could look ahead to CC!

I dont think Hemphill can look ahead to anyone. For every offensive record they break they also break records on defense the other direction. Hemphill may have the worst defense in the state. SA is going to run the table.

Awesome game by the Pirates last night, offense and defense played a great game.  Offense only had one turnover and moved the ball on the ground and through the air all night. Defense played extremely physical and except for one or two break downs looked really solid again. The Indians are explosive on offense with #2 and #22, good luck to the indians the rest of the way.

Agreed.  Our win should shut Hemphill up finally. 

Great win Deweyville!  I think yall have Corrigan beat!  Keep it up!
