GP does have a pretty good RB that has been injured since district began. When they played GCM he was on the sideline with a leg brace on, but i have not seen if he will or will not return. GP has been forced to throw a lot with out the RB and from what i have heard  the [b]QB just insn't very acurate with his throws.[/b][/quote]That is an understatement.

[/quote]That is true, if he could only hit WIDE OPEN receivers.  Felt kind of sorry for the top receiver of GP.  He is a great athlete and was open a lot when they played Dayton, but the QB couldn't get the ball close to him.

im wanting to see some intensity tonight by the offense and defense of bh seems the past couple weeks they have been coming out flat

I think they are bored and can't wait to play a football team that can play!! It's hard to get up for games against teams that are getting killed week end and week out. Not to mention when the other teams fan base includes just the players parents :( Can't wait to get this one over, so that we can get back into the meat of our district!!

Besides that pitiful Dayton team we haven't played anyone since Nederland ;D

It shouldn't matter who they are playing they should go out there pumped to play every friday after busting there butts all week at practice...

[/quote]We came out flat against NF and it showed. We had a little better intensity against CK King last week. I am hoping the offense will show some of the more exciting plays they have in their arsenal this week. However if we are successful running the ball down their throats we probably won't see them. Saving the exciting stuff for GCM and Crosby if needed ;) Coach Gage keeps his cards pretty close to his vest.

I have defenitly noticed that he doesn't show anything unless he has too  ;D I like it though because it gives nothing for the scouts to report home about ;D

Octfeb, your whole "envy" schtick is OLD OLD OLD!  There is something called tradition and legacy which BH has had long before Dayton ever got ahold of Coach Stu.  Prior to Stu, Dayton's program was marginal at best while BH has had a history of consistent playoff appearances...sort of like PNG and/or Brenham.  BH cannot control which classification they play in as enrollment is the driving force.  So it doesn't matter if BH was in Class A, AA, AAA, or now in AAAA, they have had tradition of winning, making playoff appearances, and that legacy to keep them walking tall, competing, and turning-out great individuals. Four years in 4A, and what, this year I think should make it 3 playoff appearances?  Not bad actually when you think how many teams are out there.  State Champions yet, nope; but neither is Dayton!

I'm not taking anything away from Dayton as team, a community, a school or anything else....but to "consistently" bring-up this whole envy crap is just that...crap!  Yea, Dayton has won their district a bunch, but not this year.  Just let it go Lady.  Hear me good....BH has NEVER, nor will EVER envy anything about Dayton.  They are a barometer for an opposing team's successes because of their recent successes and nothing more!!  Go Dayton, win tonight and go Eagles, kick some GP hiney!
