Ya, they did.  They also had a 2 or 3 OT game that they lost 49-50 against a tough Angleton team. (their only loss) Terry has a 6'6" WR that is a 5 star recruit as a Jr.  They also have a very good defense that held LaMarque to 20 points.

KP won't come within 21 of this year.

Humble will not make the playoffs.  They may be 3-1, but they have already played the 3 worst teams in the District.  With Kingwood Park, Willis, and Summer Creek left on the schedule, Humble may not win any of them.  Huntsville beat them last week, so Huntsville has the head-to-head tiebreaker.  Huntsville will finish at least 4-3 in the District.  Doesn't really matter because 17-4A will likely sweep 18-4A in the playoffs.

Yep, but they have super easy two games if the bracket ends up this way. A young Texas City team and then the winner of an HISD team? Just give them the first two rounds. Now, PNG would have to beat a very strong BH team, and an even stronger Brenham team to get to the tough Terry team. Luck of the draw.

If Friendswood makes it instead of Texas City, Manvel would be the D2 #1.  That means Terry VS LaMarque rematch in the first round!

A couple of school board members apparently threw a fit in Crosby over this. It's sad that 1-2 people are that ignorant and have that much influence. Trust me, the coaches would have rather played Vidor than Pearland Dawson - and that's not knocking Vidor. They would be a good opponent. But the Cougars have been pretty much thrashed by Dawson both years.

I will say this, be careful what you wish for. Crosby is 3-0 against 20-4A in the last three years come playoff time. They are really, really young this year but getting better every week.

But the easiest brackets to get to the end (due to a weak 2nd round match up or weaker 3rd round match up) would be the Vidor Crosby slot, or the Livingston Dayton slot.

So going through the Manvel/Angleton winner is easy. That may be the toughest 3rd round opponent. Manvel is like a college team. The little guy on the line is 6'3 280! Not buying that at all.

You are assuming that Texas City is gonna make the playoffs. If they don't and Friendswood makes it instead of them those playoff brackets will be totally mixed up putting Manvel in D2 and making the road for Vidor a lil but easier.
