Subvarsity games in Beaumont

Why are the subvarsity games not played at the new stadium in Beaumont. Looks like they would try to get their money's worth out of that stadium. Is it because they dont want to turn on the lights. Surely a school district that can afford to pay a superintendant hundreds of thousands of dollars and an electrician millions of dollars and can afford to build a hotel can pay their light bill. The younger kids work just as hard as the older kids and should be given the same privileges.

No multischool district uses their main stadium for junior varsity games.  Each high school uses their own field here in Katy.

Thank you for clearing that up, Grad.  What does The Sup's salary, the Walker situation, or a past hotel proposal have to do with anything?  Looks like a reason just to whine.

really and truely it makes sense NOT to play the sub-varsity games there, as it would cause more "wear and tear" on their investment. my thing is this, if the younger kids want to play on it, WORK HARDER!!!

It would never work.  They have to play the games on Thursday.  And with 3 schools, u would often have 2 teams that need to play there every week.  The best you could hope for is to play 1 or 2 games a year there.  And that could cause significant confusion for everyone hoping to attend the games.
