Yeah, but your Bucs made the playoffs that year, right?  Not looking so hot for AP right now....must beat Newton @ Newton...

Now, should I tell you how I really feel? 8)

Yeah, EC has made the playoffs something like 17 or 18 consecutive years, so it did not knock us out or anything. Its just beyond frustrating to see 9 freakin' turnovers in a single game! I think Andy Evans was on the verge of a stroke that night!

Chambers County should've never let him go...could've combined EC & AP years back to form a large 3A or small 4A and there would be lots of trophys displayed @ G'Fest & Rice Fest - just saying...

I hear you but it wasn't EC that let him go. He is best buds with Supt. Dee Hartt, and when Dee left to go to Tatum, Andy could not resist the $$$$, or the proximity of the lakes. Andy is a fishing fanatic. We all liked Andy, but we are very happy with the coaches that have followed.  8)

I know Andy's in a better place, but it was Anahuac who ran him off...I won't say which head coach/AD ran him off, but it was right before Ricks, Speights and Terry were reaching their prime...

Good luck to your Bucs neighbor...although, North Dakota isn't really that close!

Woodvile caught pretty much every break, dominated up front, and except for three big plays stuffed Anahuac's offense. Good game Woodville. Anahuac didnt really have the fire-power they usually do. Most of them played hard. Just not strong enough up front and didnt have the fire-power they have in the past.

EC WINS OVER BUNA (3 LOSSES)  NEWTON WINS OVER ANAHAUC (3 LOSSES) BUNA WINS OVER WOODVILLE (3 LOSSES)
WHO WOULD ADVANCE AS THE THIRD PLACE TEAM?
[/quote]

That could happen. Good question  What are those tiebreaker rules?

If Woodville beats Kountze and Buna, they only have 2 losses. The Buna vs Woodville game is going to be a important game to both teams.
