I agree.  If we play that way against a good team it won't be pretty.  Hopefully the Dogs get back to work Monday and get prepared to win the district title.

Ned took it easy tonight.  Lumberton is down with injuries and not a whole lot of players right now.  They also seem to have lost some steam after a couple of close losses to start the district.  Looks like a year after next before they can really make some noise again in the district.

I like the shutout. I think Lum. had more penalty yards against us than total yards. Play flat and still win big. I'll take it.

The Lum. announcer said now it is time for PNG to play their school song. He said Oops, I mean Nederland. We played our school song and he apologized for the huge mistake and said Go Dogs! That was hilarious.

Agreed. Nederland took the foot off the throttle early in the second half. Was not impressed with our first half but we had a few things that didn't go our way such as penalties and the punt return that hit our Nederland player allowing the lumberton recovery. a win is a win though and I'll take it.

Back to back shutouts as well as 2 straight games allowing less than 100 total yards offense.  Pretty impressive!

Someone will get on here and say that those shutouts are not impressive. Lum. did have more penalty yards against us than passing yards.

That was Lumberton's first time to get blanked this year, and Central's only other one was against Livingston.  So who really care what they say.  ;D
