BigDog007
Nederland started out very slow against Lumberton and they played very sluggish with to many mistakes. There was no spark on the sidelines like usual. If the dogs come in with the same lack luster emotions Ozen could be a spoiler. With it being Sr. Night i would expect another win but, Ozen is traveling with a surprise win over Livingston. The first quarter in my opinion will set the tone for the game. Nederland knocks the chip off their shoulder and its 42-14 if not then its gonna be close at 28-24.

Razor
Dude, no one has come close to scoring 35 on Nederland...do you really think that Ozen is that far and away the best offense Nederland will be seeing this year...the most points Nederland has allowed so far is 21 and that was to PNG with a trash time TD with 3 seconds left.Ozen is capable of pulling the upset, but not by hanging 35...I stick with Nederland 24, Ozen
BMTSoulja1
Word to the wise. Stay away from the inside. Run Jones from east to west. Screen passes. They try to funnel everything to the middle. Also, one of the RB's will probably need to stay and block on pass plays for Green to launch it deep. I say, test Nederland's outsides and CB's. Stay away from the D-Linemen. On offense, keep an eye on the little RB Benjamin (sp). He's shifty. And please don't get sucked in on the playaction pass. They have recievers that catch passes. He's the best I have seen including last year. He better get his passes off quickly because I know we are going to pressure him. BMTSoulja1
Yes, I forgot about the x factor, field position. Nederland do have a knack for starting drives with excellent field position.
dawgnut
Ozen should know all about field position, basically that's what cost them the game last year. You can't give the Dogs the ball deep in your end of the field with very little time left on the clock, more times than not they will find a way to score! I think Ned wins the DC too, but if PNG beats Vidor, we can do it in front of a home crowd, not that we don't travel well. I was at the Vidor game and y'all have a good chance of beating PNG. robanadana
Nederland, at home, playing for an outright district title which is something Neumann wants really bad. Nederland 28, Ozen 14. Ozen has some hosses and won't be denied the endzone but Nederland will roll to win district this year. I have to say I believe that Neumann is one of the best coaches in high school football and he knows how to draw up a game plan for the team he's playing. Props to him and his coaching staff. Ozen has coaching issues same as Central. No offense SoulJa.

football04
If I'm mistaken Coach Neumann played Jr College football on Scholarship and also played for Lamar back in the 70's, I don't know how good he was, but you have to do something on the field to play in college. I also know he is one of the most intense coaches you will find anywhere, I wouldn't want him mad at me, he gets his point across when he needs to.
