20-4a wins include Nederland by 18 over GCM and LCM over GCM.  LCM is currently 7th place in district and beat your 3rd place team by 12 points early in the year.

How can you say 20-4a is a joke?  That's a legit question, I'm just trying to figure out your logic.

I watch a LOT of high school football and it's not hard to see the clear differences in team tallent between these teams. Just like when you watch a good team and a state championship team.........BIG difference.  As for your point diffrential comparisons, those were all early season scores.  BH beat Nederland and really didn't show it's offense during that game.  BH is a better team than Nederland saw, as is Crosby, GCM, and Lee.  19-4A is much better week 8 and some of the teams in 20-4A are far worse (Livingston especially).

Seriously? Don't insult me like that. Come on man. WOS doesn't deserve to be in the lower schools poll. And yes i just did say Ozen is a good team. Yes they have made some mistakes. Bad snaps. A lot of false starts but that doesn't make them a bad team. I guarantee that if they had different coaches they would be doing a lot better than they are this year. IMO they just lack the leadership coaching wise.

I agree, better coaching and minimize mistakes they would be better.  HOWEVER, they don't have different coaches and they make a ton of mistakes.  All that equals a bad team.  Heck, if rosie o donnel had nuts, she would have a twin brother somewhere.  ;D ;D

Barbers Hill is having a good year but GEEZ....  they barely squeeked one out against Nederland... Ok. There are plenty of things that make a good coach. Knowing how to pick an offense that suits your team. Knowing who to start over whom. Knowing how to lead kids and motivate them and that's just a few thing but IMO there some key ingredients in a good coach. One big thing is keeping your kids disciplined. That's a fundamental of coaching IMO. A basic and from what I've seen of Ozen they are far from disciplined. Bad snaps. I mean look at the beginning of the Livingston game. How many false starts did they start out with in there own freaking stadium at that? I think it was 6 in the first drive. That's pathetic and IMO a coaching problem. And we all know that they have had problems with the snaps before and i would understand a few but as many as they have had is a coaching problem. That's why i said the Ozen coaches needed some help and if not for them Ozen would be doing better. I never said that they were terrible. Yes they made some good calls Saturday. They beat a good Livingston team. They came out after that first half a different team. The coaches made the adjustments that they needed to. But that does not change my opinion about them. Now with that being said i wish Ozen the best of luck with there rest of the season and the playoffs if they make it.
