I don't want to take anything away from Ozen, they were the better team that day.  However, I think Brenham wins just about any other day.  To answer your question, I think we would win 20-4A. (district races last most of the season, not just one game) ;)

I believe it was determined during the vidor/livingston thread that "Lions#80" was in fact a girlfriend to one of the football players. At least it seemed that way. Also, he/she disappeared from the boards for a while after gauranteeing a livingston win. As you can plainly see, he/she still has no class and only the ability to talk sh!t in a negative way. I tend to feel sorry for people like this. But not in this case. Grow up, get a life, and should you graduate, GET A JOB!!!!! Until then, we will have no more comments from the peanut gallery.

Not going to go back and read every page...I'm just going to address the subject of whether Brenham is overrated...

Rankings are usually compiled by looking at a teams previous year record, returning starters, and coaching staff continuity...

Based on this Brenham isn't overrated...Did they not make it as far as many thought their talent and coaching would take them? Yes, but it doesn't mean that they didn't have the goods to make a deep run or even win it all...

Every year there are teams who are highly ranked who don't do as well as planned...It's hard to win in the playoffs...Stuff happens...It's what makes winning even more special...

You've got to be really good and usually have a break or two along the way...Heck, Trinity has been one of the most dominant teams in the state & country the last several years and even they have had to get a break here and there to advance in the playoffs....

I have the utmost respect for teams who are able to win state championships in consecutive years....It's already tough to do and even harder when you're wearing the bullseye and getting everyone's best shot...

I'm thinking more of the Carthages of the world....Even though what Lake Travis is trying to do is still unprecedented (I understand the argument for and against LT)

While I respect Brenhamfan as a football fan and he unlike others (Friendswood) who disappear after there team loses comes back here and talks about his losses still has on Green colored glasses. Brenham looses out 2 years in a row early and there whole district is gone. They were ranked higher than there playoff performance warrants. So (with apologies to Brenham fan because I have respect for your love of the game) yes this season Brenham was overrated. Our hearts say no but how many seasons in a row do you have to get knocked out early until you say OK now we are just and average team who looked good in an average district. Noone wants to admit it when its there team but sometime it just is that way.
