Joharr73 Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 I read on here that the Lovelady QB will be out the rest of the year with a broken fibula. How much of a difference is Lovelady without him? We know they have 2 really good RB's, but how is the backup QB?Hull-Daisetta's Marberry was injuried against the Oilers, but his was tendonitis and a tendon was inflamed. He could be ready to go this week, which the Bobcats really need.I'm still picking the Lions to win even with the QB issue, their playing great football this year. If the Bobcats can clean up their turnovers, they may be able to stay competitive.Good luck to both teams!

pinelandflash Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 They were a different team in the second half against us after losing Therwanger. They attempted just 1 pass in the 2nd half. However, that being said that #28(Sherman) was a beast both running and recieving (11/127/3TD rushing, 4/100/TD recieving). Think they will still win big over H-D. #55 is a full grown MAN too. Sad to hear Therwanger's season's over, cause he was a talented QB.
ThirdnLong Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Really a bad break for Therwhanger and the Lions. The kid is talented, sneaky fast, has a good arm and a good head on his shoulders. I've never seen him rattled. Plays a good safety on defense as well. He could possibly be back if LL makes it to the third round of the playoffs.That being said, his backup is no slouch. He is the younger brother of the QB LL had on the '09 team that played HD in the playoffs. He's a tall, rangy, good athlete who can throw. LL didn't attempt many passes in the second half because 1) they were trying to run the clock and 2) the backup (Denson) hadn't worked with the 1st team receivers very much. Besides, they scored 27 points in the second half without throwing it. I imagine LL will still throw the ball when they want to.LL still has some players even with the loss of their QB.

He showed great poise by allowing his blockers to pick up people downfield then finding the open field to make big gains. Wish him well in his recovery.BucketSitR

You have to admit. HD hasn't really been worth a crap in a long time. I don't know why you're just seeing it...but congrats. You're a little less dillusional
