Only reason I ask is because there was talk on one of the boards today that it may not happen this year.  Glad to hear it's still a "go".

I heard only 4 players from each team can make the ProBowl.  Why couldn't their be a tryout or something to see who the best players are in the league.  Some teams have more that 4 really good players.

I wonde if the STJFL will let Port Arthu's players paticipate in the Pro Bowl?  Or will they ban the kids fom the Pro Bowl also.  Just asking...

I don't see why they wouldn't.  It has nothing to do with playoffs.  I hope they let them.  Good question though.

pa4, hope they let these guys . a conversation earlier in the week, i was told lum, kountze, vidor , bmt was a division . pa was mentioned with the other leagues so
i took it as pa was a go. i hope so ,some fine young men over there. also told coaches pick 4 players from each team

North- (Lumb. white and blue, Kountze, Bmt, LC, Vidor, & Orangefield) 7 teams 3 playoff teams.
South- (Ned. white and black, PNG white and purple, PA, WOS, BC) 7 teams 5 playoff teams.

Playoff teams only listed because if the team is in the supperbowl the player will not be in the probowl.
So a team might be able to bring a few more kids to make up the difference.

You have omitted a BMT team and PNG G...is this because you think BMT G and PNG G will be in the Superbowl???

We enjoyed the pro bowl last year.  It was truly a game composed of "the best of the rest".  Gary had a great time.  If PA is allowed to play a few of their players ... wow!  I wanna see that!

That is correct...should've noticed that.  I guess they were just mistakenly omitted from Gusher's synopsis.

Dang looking at the SENIOR standings I see where both teams went undefeated. ohhh crude thats right they did not play in the senior division. My bad I schould have said Sr. division.

unfortunatly png will not be participating in the probowl this year.  they always have an allstar team which plays nederland every year. wish they were playing in it. i dont know about nederland they may be.

Yes PA is participating in the pro bowl told coaches, they will make selects soon.  I believe it is 4 from PW, 4 from Jr and 6 from seniors that was aloted.  Someone please correct me if I am wrong, so I can change the info which was given to the senior coach.

been told monday that after this weekends playoffs games coaches and practice times and game schedule would be set, so lets say sat. evening sometime

Thank you LHSALLZONE!  Can you post here when you have updated info.  I'm sure the coach will let us know as soon as he knows something.  It's just difficult trying to schedule 3 kids along with our work schedules.

The South will practice Nov 7th, 8th & 10th from 6:00 to 7:30 in Orangefield while the North will practice mostly likely in Lumberton at most likely the same times and days. But I can not confirm the North exact schedule.

Does ProBowl & SuperBowl teams follow same maximum practice rules & MPR as regular season?
