TNTITANS
I have a question. I just noticed that in 2009 Vidor played PN-G for PN-G's Homecoming. Last year, PN-G played Vidor for our Homecoming and this year PNG is playing Vidor for their Homecoming again. This is the third year in a row it has been one of the schools Homecomings. Do they always play each other for Homecoming's and why? Or is it just a coincidence? This is my favorite game. Always a lot of spirit on both sides and they seem to play respectful of each other. Guest Pirate_pride_07
That is rather strange.
Guest KHS 89
I can't speak to the "why's" as far as being the third year in a row - maybe a scheduling thing? I will say that there is no other Homecoming show like the "lights out" show that Vidor puts on! Always love seeing that!
TNTITANS
just noticed that they played for PNG's in 2009 I saw that on youtube because there was a recording on the "I" that the band did. I went last year for Vidor's so I had never paid attention to that before. Didn't know if that was always planned or not. Kind of hope they play Lumberton next year though I need to go to a Vidor/Lumberton game!

NDNation
if you put on a show like Vidor does, with all the hard work and money...wouldnt you want a packed stadium for the show...You can always count on PNG for that!
invictus
Vidor will always have a packed house for Homecoming, even if it is just people from Vidor attending. There were quite a few times where they sold "standing room only" tickets.
badndn
The last two times PNG played at Vidor we got to see the Vidor Homecoming halftime spectacular. Seems to me that Vidor would want to schedule someone like Ozen for HC so they could have extra seats for the Vidor fans! ;)I see alot of folks standing at the fences for this halftime show, so I would guess many folks (that can't get tix) just show up and watch the show and leave. PN-G bamatex
We played at Vidor's homecoming in 2007 as well (my freshman year). 2008, the year Indian Stadium got a facelift, is the exception.Personally, I think it's neat. Both teams know their homecomings are going to be sold out and we get the added benefit of seeing Vidor's awesome homecoming show every other year. I say we keep the tradition going if possible.
