From a 3AAA follower looking at you 'big dogs' I would have to go with BH in this one,not beacause of the record but because of the way they've played week after week.I have seen nothing but improvement on the BH side. PNG struggled against Vidor who is a good football team but Vidor doesnt have the defense BH has.PNG is going to have to score more than 2 Tds to win and only Dayton has done that this year,as a matter of fact no team has even scored 2 Td's against them this year except Dayton.BH will score at least 3 Tds and controll the tempo of the game.Good luck to all.

I agree that a PN-G/BH game would be a tough one and that BH is obviously favored because of their record (although I would personally still pick PN-G), but PN-G didn't "struggle" with Vidor. We were up 22-0 at the end of the third quarter. Vidor changed offensive schemes and we took too long to adjust.

Now, had Vidor been mixing things up all along, I'd agree that that game would have been a struggle. Vidor's last minute almost-comeback proves that they had the potential. They just stuck with a hard-nosed running offense for three quarters that we had figured out and shut down (with help from some penalties).

True story, and completely relevant.......... Doctor prescribed me a Z-Pack.  Told me it would be 5 pills.  Take 2 first day and 1 every day therafter until all gone.  "Would cure the flu".  Get to the pharmacy, they give me a bottle with 6 pills in it.  I go home (miss-counting the 6th pill obviously) took 2 and boy-howdy.  So I go back to the pharmacy running 104 fever, knocking stuff off shelves when I turn the corners (if you know what I mean...wait, Dayton guys I'll explain later ;D) and ask the pharmacist how cialis is supposed to reduce fever.  She says. "sorry about that, this one is on me".  PNG Sucks......to keep on topic.

Personally I think BH is getting way to over confident. Could come back to bite you on your ars regardless of who you play in round 1. Even if you make it thru round 1, second round your gone anyway.

I agree that a PN-G/BH game would be a tough one and that BH is obviously favored because of their record (although I would personally still pick PN-G), but PN-G didn't "struggle" with Vidor. We were up 22-0 at the end of the third quarter. Vidor changed offensive schemes and we took too long to adjust.

Now, had Vidor been mixing things up all along, I'd agree that that game would have been a struggle. Vidor's last minute almost-comeback proves that they had the potential. They just stuck with a hard-nosed running offense for three quarters that we had figured out and shut down (with help from some penalties).

To be honest Vidor didn't change offensive schemes. The only we did was get momentum and brought a new qb in and a new fullback in. And we also ran a few plays that we hadn't run yet. That's it. Not taking anything away from PNG. And as for shutting down our offense if you really did shut it down why did Vidor have more yards and first downs than yall?  ::)  8)

maybe so, but Brenham will have to play well to beat bh. I don't think it's a gimme. I know Brenham knows that as well.

Dont know that brenham is even the best team in this area. If friendswood beats tc friday manvel will be d2 and lamarque is loaded again. I do think one of these 3 will win the region.
