How would it look if a 5A lost to a 3A same with 4A. Nederland is the only one that has kept WOS on the schedule. LCM did but got tired of a loss I guess. Just saying!!!!!!!! That is why they don't play Newton anymore either.
Riding Solo
It is what it is, Coaches need wins plain and simple to keep a job. Sad but true. I think sometimes a school just does not have the talent at certain times and coaches should be judged on how they turn boys into men. That is the real picture here. Not wins all the time. How many coaches produce productive kids in society? That is really how we should judge.

kicker
I personally like playing different teams every 2 years. It's fun for us fans. I know travel expenses, etc. , are a problem. However, if we just took that out of the equation, I would like to see a WOS predistrict have something like.....liberty hill, manor, stephenville, tivy, etc. Just saying. I like to see different teams from across the state.

Guest Pirate_pride_07
I'd be glad to put Vidor on that list. It'd be better than a scrimmage. 8)
speveto
Next year. LCM, Central, PNG and Jasper. Put this in your memory bank. When this becomes "FACT", I want "CREDIT". (thanks for the info. Ricker)

Dare I say it to you...Mr. Central/West Texas...we would win some of those. We took a formidable 4A state semi-finalist Friendswood to the wire last year. Outside of travel cost considerations, Coach Thompson would not be shy about playing either one of those teams.
skipper
lets wait tell the gas prices go down :) we have some VERY GOOD TEAMS here in the GT that might like to put the kids from wo-s on there play list.

I can't see us going away from the Crosby game as it appears to be a pretty good matchup. Maybe WOS will replace Tx City or if Livingston ends up in another district and we get a 4th pre-district game.PAMCrosbyWOS would be great for us PNG Fans. Thats three quality opponents with speed and we wont have to travel all over the place.
