Bobcatfan4life Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Predictions? OF was in this type of situation last year and came up 2 points short even though we won the game 28-26 at BC.
Riding Solo Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 It will be another close game. Both teams seem to have better defenses this year.
skipper Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 i sure wish this game would be played on saturday this is going to be a dog fight i would love to see this one
Guest Pirate_pride_07 Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Definitely a rivalry. And you can never predict a rivalry. But i guarantee this one will be closer than most think.
Riding Solo Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Bridge City has not stopped Orangefields offense since Huckaby became coach. Orangefield by 7.

setx sports guy Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 O'Field has to win by 7pts or win and Silsbee lose. I don't think Silsbee is losing to HF so Bobcats have their hands full. For me too close to call
Setxhasbeen Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 BC by at least one TD. Ofield will be a tough game, but BC comes out on top in a dog fight.
JWB Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Gonna be a good game, better get there early!!!
NewIndian Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Im going to miss the blood bath with the Indians and central this friday, cuz i promised my GF that if she went to MCM then id go to her schools rivalry game, hope its good but ill still have my radio and wearing my purple

As a neighbor of Bridge City and Orangefield i know first hand that they are fierce rivals and they take this week very seriously. Its probably one of the rivalries that comes close to MCM. Be cautious about what you say and do lol.
NewIndian Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 I fly my colors with no fear..lol, even going to see my dad in Vidor, hes even got a PNG flag in his room. But in other words youre saying it should be a good game. Good but its gonna be strange in a different stadium, havent missed a PNG game in years
football Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Someone check my math:3 way tie between bc, sil, and of:as of now:Silsbee + 2 can't changeof - 8 bc +6if of wins by 5, this makes it bc +1Silsbee is the only one determined by points, then the heads up match determines the other playoff participant. If all 3 are decided by points then they would need to win by 7. Do not know what the tiebreaker rules are for this district.
Trojanfan Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 I predict that the winner gets Coldspring, YEEEEEEEHHHHHH!
T-Dawd Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 I would understand if OF wants to win this game but by less than 7 points so they can say they beat BC and save another beating by CS.
Setxhasbeen Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Don't see how bc is tied with sil, and of. With only one district loss? From what I herd bc is already in.
Cat22 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 BC is not in yet. If OF beats them then OF/BC/Silsbee will all have 2 losses with all beating each other. Then it will come down to the point differences.
Bobcatfan4life Posted October 31, 2011 Author Report Posted October 31, 2011 It will be a close game, probably by fewer than 10 points. I was a freshman in high school when BC dropped to 3A and the Bayou Bowl was born. Back then BC used to roll over us no problem but the last few years it's been a very close matchup. In fact the last time this game was a blowout it was OF blowing out BC 60-35 in 2007. Since then it's been 14-7 BC, 31-30 BC in OT and 28-26 OF. The last time they really dominated us was in 2004 (48-0) our 0-10 year. I expect another great game because both sides know what is at stake. Everything they both have been working for since the summer comes down to one game if you want to keep playing.
1fan Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 I predict the Cats will pull this one out at home...going to be a great game!
