Mr. Blitz Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 ...and these posters remind me of the posters leading into the Dayton/BH game this year. Lot of inflated point totals having the purple team picked as a BIG winner followed by a loss to the lowly Eagles. It will be deja vu in 2012....

Gamal also had -1 total rushing yards with a -0.5 average last week, while Newcomb had 110 total rushing yards with a 10.0 average (Not to mention Newcomb's 49 yard k/o return to start the 2nd half).
well then answer my question how many kick off returns does he have for td. If he averages 41 yds a return and had no td it tells me he is to slow to take it to the house. My whole point was his average is so high because he doesnt have many returns and I was just making a joke.
To answer your question, no returns for TD; however, It doesn't take a genius to figure out why we havent had any returns for TD......We simply have not had the opportunities for it to happen, because our defense has allowed, on average, less than 7 points per game.

Arrogant enough for ya?
yeah your ignorant enough
BP dude lighten up already. We know we won't have the same team next year. The Broncs prove that this year, but we will be competitive. Try to enjoy the smacking!

Very deserving in their sophomore year as well!
After tonight's beat down.....here are my final selections.MVP - Tyler NewcombOff MVP - Aston WalkerDef MVP - Garrett DolanNewcomer - Austin WalkerNewcomb played well again and had 2 big KO returns (one costly fumble too)Couldn't stop Walker with the district's best defense so he gets the nodDolan had at least 15 tackles, called his name out all night. Couple TFLs too.Couldn't stop Walker with the district's best defense X2
Cougtalk Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Austin Walter MVP Aston Walter Newcommer of the year.

Seriously? Then you question his Kickoff return average by saying "Hard to believe he averages 41 yards" ..... To answer your question, he has only been on kickoff return for a few weeks, but in those few weeks, he has averaged 43.3 yards per cArry (no td's, but pretty impressive if you understand the triple-option offense).

It is actually about 42.6, but whose counting?
Cougtalk Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 I'll be fine if the MVP is newcomb but i think Austin should win it.
