Congrats to Coach Knight on his first win as Lamar head coach.

82-47 win over St. Gregory.

Lamb with 28 points, 20 rebounds!!

Good game and finally an enjoyable atmosphere.  Coach Knight relaxed, not trying to intimidate the officials or his players.  Team did what it was supposed to do (win big).  Plenty of oppurtunities for improvement once coach watches the tape, but there is defiinately much improved play particularly on defense.

Looked good. Lamb had 28 and 20 I thought? But I was impressed. He let the players play and didn't go overboard with the offense. Roc always had so many plays. But Pat let the players play and their talent shine.

Much better watching a team play interior defense. Not a lot of easy buckets for SGU last night. On the offensive side, we gotta shoot better, but I am sure with time that will come.

Lamb is a BB magnet.  His hustle has him in the right places all the time.  He has the best hands I have ever seen. Don't think I have ever seen him bobble a ball whether a pass, rebound or going after one on the floor.  20 rebounds !!!!!!!!!!! remarkable for one of the shorter ones on the floor.  And he can jump through the roof.

Davis is probably the only pure shooter. Minor goes on streaks.
The big kid from Sweden has a nice jumper from 10+. Way ahead of where Coy was as a Freshman.
The three that impressed me the most where Lamb of course, Harper look good, very fundametal and Miles looked good running the offense. Didn't look out of control and was being a real leader.

G - Miles 6'1

with the following in the 9 man rotation

F - Brown 6'8
F/G - Davis 6'6
G - Minor 6'2
G - Lynch 6'1

Knight said he was planning on going with a 8-9 man rotation.  Glad to see he is not going to play too many people.

Badndn that looks pretty good to me, but I think Osas will get some PT as well.
