2011 playoff dark horse???

Which team do you think will be the playoff dark horse and make a deep run?

I think if Ozen can get in and stop turning the ball over and stupid mistakes they can go pretty deep in playoffs.

Not sure if i'd consider them dark horses persay, but this Nederland squad hasnt gotten any respect from the state polls so I'd definitely consider them underdogs to go deep. I said it at the beginning of the season and ill say it again. This group reminds me of the early 2000s teams. Very hungry with bumps along the way and the will to overcome.

Ozen was my dark horse to make the playoffs at the begining of the year, and now that it's week 10, they still have a chance.  As far as making a long playoff run, that won't happen.  They would face BH first, and of they can escape the Eagles, the would likily see my Cubs in the 2nd round.  (That is of course, if they were to get in)

BF, why is it no one talks smack about your Cubs? Other than the fact that the Cubs are really good and they have at least 6 D-1 signees.  :o

Good choice.  They are very capable of making a long run.  They almost won the region last year, and have a good chance this year, if they can improve their running game.  With House, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they won the region in D1, but since he's not playing anymore, they need to fill that spot.  They are still very good, but of anything holds them back, thats what it will be.  They are solid everywhere else.

They do, but only when we give them a chance.  Go look at all the posts after last years loss to KP.  I caught alot of crap after that....  Lol

True, when we played them a couple of years ago, they were very good. We tried to play catch up the entire game and fell short.

That's what I have been looking at Liltex. Angleton is still winning. The Broncs were on a roll after pre-district and the loss to Bh kind of rattled them. Maybe they are getting back on track to make noise.

Nederland.  I think they have not received the respect in the polls that they deserve.  I see them being a tough team to beat in the playoffs.
