NEWTON VS. KOUNTZE BROADCAST/Newton wins!

It is the 2011 regular season finale for the Newton Eagles as they travel to Kountze to take on the Lions.  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, who wrapped up the district runner-up position and the #2 playoff seed in 10-2A-I by defeating Anahuac 51-7, come into tonight's game with a 7-2 season mark and 5-1 season record.  Meanwhile, Lance Dale's Lions come into their 2011 finale with a 3-6 season mark and 1-5 district record after a 32-0 loss to Woodville last week.
