Ill make it real simple for you. Crosby beat PNG in a shootout. PNG is better than Vidor. Now I am not just simply using the old logic of Team A beat Team B and Team B beat Team C so therefore Team A will beat Team C. What I am saying is, PNG can compete in a shootout. It is my personal opinion that Vidor does not have the style nor weaponry to compete in a game where the other team can score really fast.

Well Livingston beat PNG and we beat Livingston. And i know your gonna spout the bs about missing mays but you can not argue with the outcome. PNG lost to Livingston. A team that Vidor beat. That's the facts. It is not a fact that if mays was playing that Livingston would win because there is no way of proving that. There are the Facts.

But in other words Vidor does pass enough to win any game IMO. They average 65 passing yards a game. That's enough to keep the defense honest towards the pass. And Vidor can't compete in a shootout? We scored 15 points on PNG in the last 5 minutes of the game.  ::)  8)

Montana Quirante/34/13/38.24/234/1/2
Austin Powell/24/10/41.67/231/2/1

Both Powell and Quirante have been passing all year long. Montana has more yards than Powell but Powell has a better completion percentage. But both are responsible for the passing yards of the team.

I'm not trying to argue over who should be starting. I think they both should get playing time. But they both are responsible for the passing yards. Not just one.

And i wasn't talking about one game TITAN POWER. I was talking about the season.

To answer your question, no i dont think Nederland has an explosive offense. We've relied on our defense this whole season with the exception of the Ozen game. We did win that shootout but if our defense does that again, its probably sayonara for the Dogs.

See if Vidor is going to stop the cougars it won't be on the first 2 drives. With the Cougars every team has an adjustment period to the Cougars offense. examples

we were up 14-0 on both Dayton and BH.

Our teams understand the first quarter is absolutely essential because our team is 100x better playing with the lead.

Any word where/when this one will be played.

It should be a good game.  The one thing Crosby can do is shut down the run, as long as the offense can move the ball and give the defense a chance to get a breather on occasion.  Vidor runs a very similar offense to Barbers Hill, in which Crosby beat.  Crosby gets off to a fast start, but seems to have a problem killing the clock.  That leaves the defense on the field too long, wearing them down.  That's what happened to them against both Baytown Lee and Dayton.  Crosby had a two TD lead in both of those games and couldn't run down the clock.  Like I said, it should be a good game.
