Know better than to take DA SMOKIN ONE serious  ;) Believe it or not the CROS run D is stout. Thats why I think VID is gonna struggle. CROS is not a team your gonna just line up with and run over. (ask BH). If the VID O was a little more balanced pas/run then they would have a shot but its not. On the other side of the ball I think the VID can contain da twins but 1 miss and its a TD. VID does a good job of blitzing from what I have seen and thats the key to stopping CROS. Make the RB have to worry more about blocking than running and it takes that extra step away. If VID has the CBs to play one on one to leave atleast 1 DB to spy on da QB then its up in the air. One of the biggest weapons on CROS is the back-up RB Scott and your not hearing much about him because he has been lost in DA TWIN bandwagon. Believe its gonna be a hard hitting smashmouth game and could go either way but VID is gonna have to mix it up on O and I havent seen/heard of it this year. ;)

Pirates have got to get out to a quick start and wear Crosby's D down late. If we get down early and are put in a situation where we've got to sling the ball around it'll be a long night. Work the clock and keep the Touchdown Twins off the field. (offensively anyway)

KVille fans, please!!! Yes the 2011 Wildcats are a bad football team, just like the 2008 PNG Indians were a bad football team. It happens. Don't be so thin skinned. Yes you made the playoffs in a 5 team district you finished 3rd by beating two BAD teams in Huntington and Dibol. Congrats.

mytwocents you posted the same things about PNG defense vs Vidors defense, how'd that work out for them. Also BH does run the Slot T! Saw it last year. They may run some option, but the base is the slot T. Who looks DUMB (in your words) now?

I still say Vidor has to pass the ball better to win in the playoffs. They completed a couple of 4th Q passes against us, but outside of that they struggled throwing the ball. They need to complete 50+ % to win in weeks 11-16. If Vidor can capitalize on the element of suprise and complete a hand full of early passes (usually open), they can and will beat Crosby.

No not at all. Actually very nice. With LU bringing back football, they did a lot of work. Nice new huge jumbotron and field house. Next turf field and all new seating. Great HS playoff venue.

Comparing by who beat who early is crazy. Look at last year and year before that, PNG crushed Crosby and Crosby looked a lot better in playoffs. After beating Crosby by thirty plus last year Crosby came and beat a Nederland team that beat PNG. Crosby seems to play better as season goes and the Crosby I saw early was much better than last years. I also assure you PNG team that beat Vidor is much better than the one that lost to Crosby. Should be a war.
