Terry and Lamarque in the 1st game is a good thing for the other teams in Region III.  Knocks 1 of those out early.  Manvel and Brenham should be the favorite to make the region III final, but it is the playoffs and anything can happen.

Certainly Brenham is the favorite to win the Region and State.  But it won't be easy.  Potential matchups await from Barbers Hill, Lamarque, and Manvel.  This region has the best teams, so I think whomever wins it will take State also.  We still have Aledo on the other side of the bracket, but they are not as fearsome as they once were.

Aledo this year reminds me of Sulphur Springs 2008 team.Outscore most teams but good teams can beat em.Their run defense is mediocre ;)
