robanadana Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 There's no news story here. The great state of Texas supplies star football players to half the nation. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State would be Div. II schools without the Dallas-Fort Worth complex.
Titletown2 Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 Truth, I try and explain the religious atmosphere football is here in Texas to my brothers back in WV and they just can"t comprehend it. The two high schools in my hometown is the mid-county madness up there as there is usually at least 10,000 fans at that game. That's more than shows up at the state championship game. I tell'em that's an average crowd down here. Football is a different animal down here!
