Moody did a great job but if you give a second team then Bradley Morgan from Buna took a team everyone had in 5th place and finished second. Buna was 0-9 last year and finished 7-4 and a playoff birth 1st since 1999!

I think Jerry Stewart is much more deserving than Moody. Moody's team finished around .500 and 4th in district with an average pre-district schedule. Stewart on the other hand swept thru the district in their first year here.

Without a doubt Larry Neumann's best season as a coach, took a no depth, small, slow Nederland team and mixed it up to make another run in the playoffs. Larry Neumann!

I would say Moody if LCM had done something... but they really didnt do anything.. I dont think that could make him coach of the year

Coach Moody-LCM. He came in with discipline and demanded respect. He accomplished alot in a year. He brought back TEAM spirit and everyone better look out in the coming years because He has a goal and the community is 100% behind him. Way to go BEARS!!! We are all very proud of you. BOJO. (We did)

Cant give to somebody that went 5 and 5. I am sure he did a great job, but 5 and 5 and no playoffs, sorry. I am going with the coach from East Chambers or Barbers Hill. East chambers went 11-1 and Brabers Hill moved up to 4a and went 10-0.

i agree...5-5 without a playoff apperance at all isnt "Coach of the Year" worthy... not saying you dont have something to look forward to, i think he could change things up a bit at LCM, but it wasnt this year

Caney Creek is 3 rounds deep in playoffs and WOS, that doesn't sound to average to me.

His team went 11-1 with non district wins over four 3A teams (Shepherd, OF, H-J, H-F) as well as went unbeaten in what I think was an improved 24-2A.
