I love boxing...I never said that boxing is dead...However, if you compare the popularity of boxing Now vs in the 70's and 80's, boxing has declined drastically.  MMA fighting, as a sport, is on the rise (especially in the UFC).  I am not saying that boxing will be replaced by MMA fighting, but it will certainly share quite a bit of it's potential viewership.

I don’t know if anyone noticed but I screwed up last week when I started this thread. I thought 139 was last week on FOX but 139 is actually this weekend. Last week was titled UFC on FOX.

Well if anyone watched 139 last night they saw some good fights with one heck of a main event. Henderson and Rua fight was unreal. I gained a lot of respect for both. I hated to see Rua not come up with the win after his comeback.
