When will Barbers Hill win a playoff game?

Regardless of the fun talk here, I'm quite surprised that it wasn't this year.  That offense pre-dates the English Language and is really hard to watch, but I thought the defense was there this year.  Maybe next year....

I think he leaves this year. Nearly our entire defense graduates, and a bunch of our offense. If he couldn't do great things with this team...the next few years aren't going to be as good. IMHO.

I don't know when our first playoff win will be, but I do know that next years team will do their best to make it happen. We had our chances on Friday but Ozen played great and made the plays when needed. We all talked smack leading up to the game and we didn't back it up, so now we have to listen to everyone but that's the fun of this site, good or bad. We lose a lot of players this year but we do have our QB for two more years and some very good Juniors coming back. Our JV was very good this year and we will need everyone to step up to the challenge. The thing a do not like or understand is BH people getting on here and making comments about not being good for the next few years. SUPPORT THE KIDS AND THE PROGRAM, GOOD OR BAD!!!

That ancient offense scored on about 80% of its posessions this year, including against Ozen and Dayton.  Surprisingly, it was the defense that couldnt get it done in the end.

First of all that was funny even if I am from Barbers Hill. We been working on that experiment for years and are close so watch out. What folks don't understand is that we on the Hill were trying to keep from embarrassing the district by going deep in the playoffs with those UGLY UNIFORMS  :o. They generally buy new Uni's every two years so we are do. We may have an offense from the 60's but hopefully going forward we won't dress like it. Then we can be proud to go deep in the playoffs!!!!

[/quote]As the father of a senior on the team, it is just terribly sad to see it end this way. My heart goes out to all parents of seniors who have watched their boys end their football playing days. I want to thank my son for all of the years of hard work, dedication, and thrills, he has given his mother and me. We are so very and proud of you and all of your teammates. It was a great ride.

I found some BH fans @ the Ozen game @ the concession stand@halftime that were perfect contestants(over 50)for the Show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader"Yep they were talking bout getting hotel resv in Arlington as the BH Eagles were going to win State ;D ::)

I think the ref actually said to stop running your mouth. Level of competition and numbers are not there at the JV level for most schools in 19-4A. Dayton and BH are probably the exception.
