Brenham sounds really good this year. Ozen's QB is a very good player. I don't think he will be the best player on the field, he was the best player on the field against BH that's for sure. But they are nowhere near the team Brenham is. Goodluck to Ozen, I'm pulling for the Panther's and for Green to have an amazing game, but Brenham just seems to have it all this year.

That is a strong statement considering the competition.  Malcolm Brown is a five star recruit, Timothy Cole is a four star recruit, and let me not forget to mention that Dean Haveman(Brenham's QB) has thrown for over 1900 yards, 31 TD's, AND has a completion percentage of 72%.  He is also very dangerous outside the pocket, and is a VERY legitimate running threat.  Now, I do not doubt that Green is one heck of a fine athlete, and a good player, but THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FIELD?  Come on man!

Ozen's first play of the game should be a long bomb. Even if it is incomplete, it makes the defense adjust right from the get-go moving people out of the box. This can open up the run game. If they still stack the box, throw over the top. Green is very capable of doing this. Just the way I play football and probably why I am not a coach.  ;D

On defense, limit the mistakes and don't overpursue. Make things happen and try to create turnovers.

If (bigtime if)the 2 team players matched up pretty even,I'd pic Brenham on coaching alone.Having seen both to be honest on a good Ozen effort-Cubs by 28.In a game w/outstanding Panther game and a mediocre Cub gm.Brenham by 14.Now the IF-EES=Cubs come out flat offensively Ozen plays well on special teams/defense=Ozen has a shot,not much of 1 but stranger things have happened,right Justin?If this match-up had BH in it,I'd take da Cubs by 35 or more just because BH rarely throws 8)

Actually, teams that have any sort of success against Brenham's defense are teams that keep trying to get to the edge with their running game.  I have not seen ANY team just line up and drive the ball the length of the field on a consistent basis.  The secondary has been a very pleasant surprise, and has improved tremendously with the discovery of a couple of very talented young players.

Really Cub87,lets look @ the Stratford game a week back.Spartans rushing=21 carries=1 yd  Pass=10/24=124 yds.Same rb for Statford last year killed ya on the edges,saw that 1 too 8)
