The Stratford game a year ago was exactly the game that stands out the most.  Skulski #25 for Stratford lit the defense up that night.  Houston Lamar, along with Waller had some success this year with the running game.  Our secondary had two interceptions in the Lamar game that denied Lamar the TD's that the run set up.  Stratford did nothing against us this year, as you said

Ya, it could happen...  I think our defense is pretty well rounded.  For a chance to beat us, Ozen will need to play flawless...  I mean win the field possession battle, create turnovers, no penalties/turnovers & good special teams play.  If they can do those things, they have a chance.

I'm going with my heart on this one and going with the Panthers. Not working this Saturday so I hope to make the trek back to Aldine Saturday to support them. Ozen has the athletes but the jury is out whether they will get out coached. I've seen Brenham play several times over the yearrs in Brenham and they definately have the one thing it takes to win consistently: a great coach and established program. They have my respect and a little (I hate to admit this) admiration. What Brenham, Dayton, PNG, Nederland etc.etc.etc. have is what I'm hoping Jeff Mathews has created in Vidor. He certainly has a lot of firsts there. One question; what's the furthest Ozen has been in the playoffs????

You noticed that too huh?  I'm kind of impressed with myself.  Considering there's not as many Brenham posters, I have to pick up the slack!  I hope i'm making the smoking baby and BHFAN proud.  It's funny how the Ozen fans didn't hook me up with + karma all year when I pulled for them, but when my team team sets the crosshairs on them, here comes the - karma.  Oh well, it's all good....  Looking forward to a great game Saturday!
