Montgomery held Huntsville to 2 first downs and 66 total yards.  Yes, I realize that Huntsville is offensively challenged.  Montgomery is a very sound and efficient team.  Vidor has the ability to beat them, but I'm taking the Bears 24-17.

I can promise you that win or lose, Vidor will still pack the stands each and every game.

Vidor will be able to play with Montgomery.  Their defense is strong, but have they seen the Wing T.  I honestly don't know.  I do know that if you look at their schedule they have won almost all their games against teams with losing records. I know that doesn't mean much, but its worth looking at.

I can't say Vidor is definitely beating Montgomery and I am not one of those people planning to be state champs or anything like that.  But, it would mean a lot to the city and to the kids to keep going in the playoffs.  And hey, I am from Vidor, so I was raised to believe there is always a chance. 

I think that chance is pretty decent since the teams have never played before, so you just really don't know what the match-ups will be like.  Vidor needs another mistake-free football game.

Well, for the most part, it is true.  The fan-bases around here are fairly solid.  I've been to many games when we were still in 22-5A that were standing room only and we just were not good in any stretch of the imagination back then.
