[/quote]If I walk through a metal detector at this game it will be a first for me at a high school game...I guess Vidor and Montgomery can both be thankful that we do not have this worry about at our home fields.

Del-mar & other HISD schools, have the hand held metal detectors, but Aldine uses the the ones you have to walk through.

Totally agree with you Mark. I prefer living in a town where high school sports are the biggest game in town. Blake Shelton summed it up best in Austin: "if it's Friday night, I'm at the ballgame. Come Saturday morning I'm headed to the lake if it don't rain. I'll be there until Sunday afternoon."
